Westcon Sub-Saharan Africa, the value-added distributor, is partnering with vendor’s Ruckus Networks an Arris company and Avaya, at the annual IAUGevent to be held in August 2018. Here it will showcase to customers and reseller partners, the full length and breadth of how it is able to pool vendor technologies for an overall collaboration experience.
IAUG is the official International Avaya Users Group, and combines the official Avaya and heritage Nortel user groups into a single body of communications technology professionals and users. Seen as the voice of the Avaya customer community, this year’s annual IAUG event is themed The Avaya Experience Journey and will be hosted from 20th – 22nd of August in Sun City North West Province.
“As a distributor we are in the fortunate position to have both Ruckus and Avaya as partners within our collaboration portfolio, enabling us to provide customers a seamless communications experience from the point of connection to the delivery of the message,” states Rentia Booysen, business unit manager: Collaboration at Westcon Sub-Saharan Africa.
“Furthermore, as an accredited training centre for both vendors and with a full internal complement of technology professionals that can support both the pre- and post-sales technical requirements of an end user – we are able to add a unique layer of value-added services beyond just the product, for both Avaya and Ruckus,” she adds.
This year’s event will run over two and a half days and will offer an opportunity to end users and OEM partners within the Avaya community, to engage with subject matter experts within the communications and collaboration space. In addition, the vendors will use the platform to showcase their latest product updates, releases and joint solutions, that have been designed to facilitate a seamless communications experience.
Packed with keynote addresses from global and local experts, hands-on education sessions and breakout networking workshops. The key messages that will be touched on at IAUG include the customer’s journey to digital transformation, how the “new age” of interactions impact your business, how to collect and best manage data – as well as how existing customers can maximise on their existing infrastructure.
“The success of any integrated communications solutions depends on an integrated technology mix that combines the proficiency of multiple vendors to create an overall seamless solution. We believe that by pooling the best in class products from Ruckus and Avaya, combined with the value-added services we as Westcon bring to the mix, we enable resellers to deliver customer solutions that improve and capitalise on best-in-class communication,” ends Booysen.
